City of Victoria Parks Urban Forest Services maintains approximately 34,000 trees on City lands including boulevards, medians, parks, and natural areas. Maintenance can include but is not limited to preventative cyclical pruning, clearance pruning, installation of tree support systems, tree removal, wildlife enhancement of dead and live trees, tree risk assessment, and stump grinding. Emergency response tree-related tasks are also the responsibility of the City and can include branches damaged by vehicles, weather related tree and branch failures, and mitigating imminent risks identified during inspections. The City is requesting tenders for qualified, experienced contractors on an as and when needed basis to perform these functions. The City may make multiple awards on this tender to ensure enough qualified staff and equipment are available for its needs

The City of Victoria invites tenders for: A Contractor to design, supply and install a geopolymer to structurally rehabilitate existing sanitary and storm drain manholes. The geopolymer liner shall be spin cast or hand sprayed to various manholes’ surfaces including brick, concrete, and various other compatible materials. The minimum liner thickness must be achieved is a 50-year design for the specified applied loads.
