The Department of Energy issued this active Special Notice for Los Alamos National Laboratory’s high-capacity hydrogen getters, which are intended to remove hydrogen and hydrogen isotopes from sealed systems. The technology permanently captures hydrogen, deuterium, and tritium, operates without activation across broad temperatures and low pressures, and can be integrated in forms such as films, coatings, pellets, powders, strands, and printable pastes. Responses are due November 14, 2026 at 5:00 PM MST, and the notice concerns a technology/licensing opportunity rather than a grant program.
