Casco Bay Island Transit District Special Board Of Directors Meeting
The Board engaged in a discussion regarding the policy for the annual winter sailing schedule, focusing on setting clear start and end dates to eliminate ambiguity. A motion was proposed to formalize these dates, followed by an amendment to adjust the transition periods to the spring schedule. The amendment was debated in light of financial projections, operational impacts on island residents, and staff recommendations, but ultimately failed. The Board then unanimously voted to pass the original motion, establishing an official policy for the winter and spring sailing schedule dates.
